The summer season begins. Lost Ark rolled out a major update with its June 24 (Wed) maintenance on the Korean servers. Three pillars define it — a full Soulfist rework, the launch of the 2026 Summer Festa season, and a character progression overhaul. Add a matchmaking mode for shadow raids and a single-player endgame mode, and the patch clearly aims to lower the barrier for new and returning players.
Update Overview
| Item | Detail |
|---|---|
| Applied | June 24, 2026 (regular maintenance, KR) |
| Core change | Soulfist rework, class balance pass |
| Season | 2026 Summer Festa / new Ark Pass season |
| Convenience | Progression overhaul, shadow raid matchmaking, single mode |
| Event window | Maharaka Summer Camp, June 24 – Oct 14 |
Soulfist Rework
The centerpiece is a full rework of Soulfist. The class's combat structure was redesigned so each build's direction and resource management read clearly. Martial and Energy skills were reclassified to distinguish combat direction by Ark Passive, and a new linked combat flow was built around a new resource, True Energy, and the identity skill Formless Art.
| Change | Detail |
|---|---|
| Inner Energy | No longer regenerates over time — recovered through skill hits and specific play |
| Hype | Tuned to use its duration strategically |
| Flash Step | Improved chain handling and cooldown structure for smoother mobility and flow |
Making Inner Energy refill through hits rather than time fundamentally changes the rhythm of playing Soulfist.
2026 Summer Festa
A wave of summer content opened up. The Maharaka Summer Camp is available from June 24 through the maintenance before October 14, alongside the 2026 Summer Mokoko Base Camp and jumping ticket event, a Water Festival event, and a 2026 Summer PC-cafe party-time event. A new Ark Pass season also began.
The jumping ticket granted with the Summer Festa is usable from June 24 through before September 16. It lets players take on a new region's adventure quests and Trace of Destiny quests without finishing earlier continent quests — smoothing the path for returning and new players.
Quality of Life — Matchmaking and Progression
On the endgame side, shadow raids gained a matchmaking mode, and the single-player mode was updated. Combined with the character progression overhaul, the stretch new and returning players must clear before joining the main roster has been streamlined. The intent to make the summer season a key on-ramp for new players is unmistakable.
Bottom line: The June 24 update rewrites the identity of one class in Soulfist while lowering the barrier to entry through the Summer Festa, the progression overhaul, and matchmaking. How many returning and new players it retains over the summer is the open question.
