The Zone Opens New Depths This Summer
S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl, the Ukrainian FPS that amassed millions of players since its November 2024 launch, is heading into its first major story expansion. On June 12, 2026, GSC Game World unveiled the characters trailer for Cost of Hope — the DLC that will for the first time take Stalkers inside the Chornobyl Nuclear Power Plant (CNPP) and the Iron Forest, two locations previously inaccessible in the entire series.

The Two New Characters
Zulu — Duty Faction Veteran
