Boss: Rotmire
The fungal giant Rotmire drops the Sporefused gear set and the Luminous Sporeglider mount. The mount is earned by collecting 4 Delicious Sporesnacks — one per week per account, from any difficulty clear.
Mythic strategy centers on Cross Fertilization: Shroomlings and Funglings must not die within 10 yards of each other or a Bursting Doom Shroom spawns and wipes the raid. This is Mythic-only, making clean AoE positioning the defining challenge.
New Zones: Val and Naigtal
To cut off the Void's machinations at the source, players travel through an unstable portal in Voidstorm — switching destinations every week.
| Zone | Description |
|---|---|
| Naigtal | A fungal, arcane-rich world occupied by the ethereal Hal'hadar faction |
| Val | An icy world where Domanaar Imperator Pertinax has established his bastion of power |
Both zones offer World Quests, rare enemy spawns, events, and world boss showdowns.
New Power System: Omnium Folio
Join Magister Umbric and Grand Magister Rommath to restore the Sunstrider Omnium, an ancient elven relic that has reawakened. Upon completion, players receive the Omnium Folio — a runic ledger granting combat rune powers customizable through weekly activities. These powers persist through the rest of the Midnight expansion.
Ritual Sites: Tier 6 Added

| Change | Details |
|---|---|
| New Tier 6 difficulty | Requires 6 challenges selected; recommended 274 item level |
| Tier 6 rewards | 5 Mythic Dawncrests + 10 Heroic Dawncrests on completion |
| New achievements | "Advanced Ritual Site Studies"; "Pinnacle Ritual Work" (reward: title Ritual Breaker) |
| Void Assault XP | Doubled for Void Strikes and Incursions |
Housing: Outdoor Lighting
Players can now place lighting décor outside their plot — a major quality-of-life addition for housing enthusiasts. Lights cannot overlap (indicator circles turn red when too close).
Item Changes
Durability Overhaul
Weapons and armor no longer take durability damage from combat events (attacking, blocking, etc.) — only death-based durability loss remains.
"Dev note: Combat durability affected classes asymmetrically. Shield users and fast-weapon specs should see significantly less durability spending going forward.
Moth Hunt Rework
Mothkeeper Wew'tam no longer sells items for Luminous Dust. Instead, players receive reward quests every 10 moths collected account-wide. A new collection progress bar has been added above the NPC.
Experience Boosts
The following activities now grant significantly more XP:
- ▶First-time delves (Delver's Call)
- ▶Midnight dungeon quests
- ▶Prey activities
- ▶Weekly Renown activities
UI Improvements
Damage Meters
- ▶New "In Group" visibility option
- ▶Smaller minimum window size
- ▶PvP mode now color-codes allies vs enemies
Personal Resource Display
- ▶New art and full layout customization (size, bar width, opacity, visibility)
- ▶Health and power bars can be hidden independently
- ▶New "Show Class Color" and "Show Bar Text" checkboxes
- ▶Augmentation Evoker bugs fixed

Community Reaction
The Mythic Flex format in Sporefall is the most-discussed mechanic heading into the patch. Historically, Mythic required an exact 20-player roster — creating friction for guilds that run just over or under the cap. Flex Mythic at 15–25 players is a trial run for what could become a permanent change to the Mythic format. Community response has been cautiously optimistic, though some worry it undermines the prestige of Mythic progression.
The durability change is broadly welcomed, particularly for Protection Paladins, Blood Death Knights, and any spec using fast weapons like daggers or fist weapons — which previously burned through durability at disproportionate rates.
