Season 8's Second Content Drop is Live
The Marvel Rivals May 28 update (Version 20260528) is now live across all platforms — no server downtime required. The headliner is the long-awaited Alchemax Headquarters Doom Match map, along with a significant Blood Hunt balance overhaul and the start of the Chrono-Rush event.
This is the second major content drop of Season 8: Sins of Alchemax, arriving roughly two weeks after the season launched on May 15 with Devil Dinosaur and sweeping hero balance changes. In the lore, Devil Dinosaur crashes into Alchemax HQ carrying a Timestream Reintegration Device — dragging the corporation's darkest secrets into the light and setting up the rescue of Cyclops.

Blood Hunt Mode: Massive Stat Overhaul
The biggest mechanical change in this patch is a sweeping stat adjustment pass for Blood Hunt — the game's PvE survival mode. The Nightmare difficulty cap has been raised to 200, and several heroes receive targeted tuning.
Blood Hunt Balance Changes
| Hero | Build | Change |
|---|---|---|
| Punisher | Barrager (Rifle) | Adjudication base damage buff increased; Vibranium Barrel bonus increased; Multi-Trajectory bullet damage up |
| Punisher | Sweeper (Shotgun) | Deliverance damage boost increased; Mithril Slug bonus increased; Piercing Shot damage falloff reduced |
| Moon Knight | Khonshu | Khonshu trait damage adjusted |
| All | Nightmare Difficulty | Cap raised to 200 (previously lower) |
Nightmare 200 Challenge: The Nightmare difficulty cap in Blood Hunt just jumped to 200. If you've been clearing at max difficulty, there's now a fresh ceiling to push toward with your squad.
