Boss AI Corrections

Several bosses exhibited inconsistent behavior patterns after launch, ranging from attacks not triggering correctly to phase transitions failing to fire under specific conditions. Patch 1.1 resolves these:

  • Fixed an issue where certain boss attack sequences could desync from their animation cues at high frame rates
  • Resolved a phase transition edge case that could lock one late-game boss in a non-attacking idle state
  • Fixed boss hitbox misalignment on two encounters in the Deeproot District equivalent area

Platforming Death Loop Fix

A subset of players reported being caught in inescapable death loops — typically in high-difficulty precision platforming sections — where respawn placement would deposit Hornet inside lethal geometry. This has been corrected across all known affected sections.

Save File Corruption Fix

The most critical fix in this patch. A bug introduced in launch builds could, under specific circumstances tied to a mid-game cutscene transition, corrupt the active save file. Affected saves would fail to load, displaying a generic error screen.

  • The corruption trigger has been patched in 1.1
  • A partial recovery tool has been added: affected save files that haven't been overwritten may be recoverable via a prompt in the main menu
